As senior vice president of creative services for Rainbow Media Holdings, Rob Battles is responsible for the overall conception, development and implementation of advertising, branding and promotion for Rainbow Media and its popular and award-winning entertainment brands, including AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel, WE tv, Wedding Central and IFC Entertainment.
Mr. Battles joined Rainbow Media in 2004 with more than 25 years of expertise in creating highly-effective, ratings-building, PROMAX and BDA award-winning advertising, marketing, publicity and communication programs for national and large market media. Previously, he was president of Rivercoss Entertainment Ltd., where he created programming, advertising and marketing for television stations and other clients.
Prior to that, Mr. Battles spent ten years as the creative director and founder of Crossroads Television, a creative services agency for networks, syndicators and television stations. He also served in various creative services roles at King World, Harpo Productions, Capital Cities/ABC, WABC TV and Showtime.
Mr. Battles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public communication from Boston University. He is a member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) and PROMAX.
